The Student Psychedelic Conference [ONLINE]
January 30 @ 6:00 am - January 31 @ 12:00 pm
About this Event
Drug Science Student Society, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, and The Southampton Psychedelic Research Society are proud to announce ‘The Student Psychedelic Conference’. This online transatlantic conference will take place over two days on 30th and 31st January.
We have secured a fantastic line up of speakers including Professor David Nutt, Dr. Beatriz Labate, Dr. Peter Hughes, representatives from the Conservative Drug Policy Reform Group, and Dr. Ben Sessa. See the full list of speakers at -> https://www.studentpsychedelicconference.co.uk/
Our wonderful panelists will be covering a diverse range of topics from patient experience of psychedelic trials, the impact of globalization of ayahuasca, and what psychedelics can tell us about the mind and brain. We will, of course, all be including some great talks on previous research on psychedelics as well as taking a look at the future of psychedelics. We’ve included the schedule below and more information can be found on our website.

Brief Closing Statement
A key part of conferences that we all miss is networking. That’s why we’ll be hosting a half hour networking event midway through the first day to make sure you get the chance to meet fellow attendees.
Psypress will also be featuring as an online bookshop to give you the chance to dive deeper into your favourite topics.
Our event is completely non-profit but we are offering each of our hard-working panellists an honorarium. For that reason we are asking for an attendance fee, the details can be found below. You’ll notice that there’s a more expensive £20 ticket, this is for those of you who really love what we do and would like to make a donation. We think that these conferences should be accessible to everyone so we’ve tried to keep the cost as low as possible.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please get in touch with us. We can’t wait to see you there.
