CannAbyss
February 1, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Description
“Go Deep”
Based on the pioneering work of Daniel McQueen, Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapist, Skye Weaver hosts CannAbyss, a legal group medicine journey using Cannabis as a spiritual catalyst for transformation. CannAbyss Circles can be deeply healing, incredibly evocative, and a lot of fun – Advanced medicine practitioners, as well as regular cannabis users regularly report extremely transformative psychedelic states.
The evening begins with an introduction to the experience and a brief tutorial on mindful journey work practices. A grounding meditation and the setting of sacred space creates a safe container for us to imbibe our own cannabis with intention, explore gentile guided movement and open to the psychedelic journey space through a guided body scan before surrendering to the music lying in savasana. The music sets are designed to evoke an experience of profound depth and personal meaning. We conclude with a period of re-embodiment, snacks for grounding back into the body and an integration circle to share your experience.
Please Bring:
- BYOOC = Bring 1 gram of your own ORGANIC cannabis flower (Sativa, Indica or Hybrid)
- Nesting materials = Pillows, blankets, a bolster for under your knees to keep you comfortable lying on your back
- An eye covering
- Your favorite pipe, flower vape or bong to smoke from
Must be 21+ and have a designated driver/taxi/rideshare from the event.
